NAHB is mourning the passing of Jim Pigott, Jr., owner of The Pigott Agency in Mechanicsburg, Pa. He passed away Nov. 16 while attending an industry-related trade show in Toronto, Ont.

Pigott was a dedicated longtime member of NAHB, the Pennsylvania Builders Association (PBA) and the HBA of Metropolitan Harrisburg. At his local, he was a Life Director and had served as the Associate vice president. At PBA, Pigott was a Life Director and was the state Associate vice president from 1989-1999. He was a frequent attendee at PBA committee and Board of Directors meetings.

Pigott also was very active at the national level and served on numerous NAHB committees. He was involved in BUILD-PAC for more than 25 years and had been a Gold Key member since 1995. He was recognized for his efforts in 2021 with the NAHB Associate Advocate of BUILD-PAC Award.

Services for Pigott will be held in December.
